２０２３年８月２６日 土曜日の朝は曇りのスタート。今朝は早めに起きて日の出を待ち望む静寂の時。
昨日も暑かったです。テレワークだったのですが、Teams会議などをうまくこなしながら・・あまりに天気が良いのでシーツを洗ったり敷き布団を干したり充実のテレワーク？でした。
バイク熱が止まらないようです(^^) ７月末に思い立って久しぶりに（２０数年ぶり）原付で宮ケ瀬ダムへ入って以来、YouTubeやネットでバイクのことを調べる日々が続いております(笑)。
学生時代に取った普通二輪免許（俗称：中免）があるのですが４００ｃｃまでなので大型二輪免許（限定解除～何ｃｃでも乗れるライセンス）の取り方（教習所or一発試験）はどうなのか。。自分がのりたい排気量のバイクはどのくらいなのかetc…
当面はレンタルバイクであたりをつけて、もし将来的にもこの熱が続くならどんなバイクをゲットするかなど思いを巡らし、妄想の旅を楽しんでいる次第です(^^♪
さて本題です。今回は原付ではなくギア付きをレンタルいたしました。
ＤＡＸ１２５ギア付きといってもカブと同じクラッチなしのやつです。ホンダのＤＡＸ１２５ｃｃをホンダドリームで８時間レンタルしました。YouTubeで事前にその特性などを勉強して当日に臨みました。ギア付きは原付と違い少しばかり緊張感がありました。
そもそもなんですがカブに乗ったことがない(‘Д’)うえに久しぶりのギアチェンジでしたので。。
そんな妄想は乗って間もなく杞憂に終わりました。
ホンダで車体の説明を受けて発進して何度かストップ＆ゴーを信号の度に繰り返すうちに慣れるもんです。クラッチがないぶん楽です。シフトダウンはエンブレが効きすぎるので主にスタート時のシフトアップさえしてしまえばそんなに神経質にならずに巡行できることが走りながらわかりました。
何ごともある程度学んだら❝ やってみる ❞ことが早いですね(^^♪行動あるのみ。
さて、今回のツーリングはお墓参りです。かれこれ２００７年くらい？からご無沙汰している母方の祖父母＋前妻が眠るＹ霊園目指しての４０ｋｍ足らずの道のり。
この日も例外なく暑い暑い日でした。ズボンが黒で肌に密着するタイプだったので特にモモが焼け付く暑さでした。。
上着は白で長袖だったのでそんなに感じなかったのですが、ズボンは黒でスパッツの様に密着するタイプは暑さがひときわであることを体感いたしました。
１２５ｃｃは高速に乗れないので混雑する下道をひたすら走り、途中結構 道に迷いながら時々グーグルマップで確認したりして何とか目的のお墓に到着したのは１３時半とかだったと思います。（１１時前に出発したのでだいぶ時間を要しました。）
日照りが肌を突き刺します。さすがに２００７年以来ぶりという事でお墓の場所探しに難渋しました。この辺かな。。というこの辺はあっていたのですが、どの墓石かを見極めるのに墓地内を柄杓と桶をもってうろうろと・・・。５～１０分くらい炎天下の中を彷徨ったと思います。
どうにかたどり着いた墓石は綺麗にされており、花も枯れておりませんでした。聞くところによると娘たちが毎月の様に来ているとの事。この炎天下で花が枯れてないという事は２，３日前には来ていたことでしょう。
祖母が亡くなってから納骨されて初めての墓前となりましたが、何とかたどり着けて手を合わせることができました。３名のご冥福を祈りお墓を後にしました。
その後、墓地の休憩場にトイレと昼食で立ち寄りました。クーラーがキンキンに効いていて天国！と感じました ^^) ~~
持ってきた冷やしオニギリとナスのぬか漬けをたいらげ、汗もすっかり引いたところで帰路につきました。
ＤＡＸ１２５は安定感よく初めてでもその走行を楽しめていい感じです。帰り道は学生時代によく通った朝比奈インターから原宿に向かう道などを通り、そのころを懐かしく思い出しました。確かゴルフ練習所もこのあたりにあったな。。とか学生時代の友人の家に行くときはこの道をよく通ったなとか・・。そういえば大学のころ乗っていたＺＺＲ４００でもこの道を通り通学したこともあるな。。とか。
思い出に浸りながら帰路は１度道に迷い元の道に戻ってしまうなどもありましたが、比較的スムーズに帰れました。やはり原付と違って制限速度３０ｋｍのストレスがないのがとても良かったです。気候は暑く暑くとても厳しい状況でしたが走る楽しみを思い出させてくれた良い体験となりました。
途中、ＯＫで買い物も・・。
OＫストアのパーキング返却時間まで少しあったので自宅周辺の道路を走り道の開拓を進めてゆきました。走るのって本当に楽しい(^^♪
信号が青に変わった直後の発進時の加速感はバイクならではです！
そんな楽しい体験も終わりの時間を迎え、最後に給油をしたところ・・
２．０１リットル。ガソリン代は１８３円／Ⅼではありますが、１１０ｋｍの走行距離ですから
返却前110.2ｋｍ燃費は約５５ｋｍ／Ⅼ ！ なんとも お財布にやさしい(^^
バイクの場合１日走ってもそんなにガソリンを食わないのが良いですね。
次回はクラッチ付のバイクに挑戦予定です。リターンライダーと呼べる感じになってきたようです。新しい？趣味楽しみます ^^) _旦~~
Touring with DAX125 Where are the graves?
August 26, 2023 Saturday morning started out cloudy. We woke up early this morning for a quiet moment to await the sunrise.
It was hot again yesterday. I was teleworking, but I managed to make it through Teams meetings, etc… The weather was so nice that I washed the sheets, hung out the mattress, and did some fulfilling telework? It was a fulfilling telework day.
I have been looking up motorcycles on YouTube and the Internet ever since I rode a moped into Miyakase Dam at the end of July for the first time in more than 20 years.
I have a regular motorcycle license (commonly known as a “medium license”) that I obtained when I was a student, but it is limited to 400 cc, so I am wondering how to obtain a large motorcycle license (a license that allows you to ride any cc) (either through a driving school or a one-shot test). I would like to know how to get a large motorcycle license (unrestricted license or one-shot test).
For the time being, I am enjoying my imaginary journey, trying to figure out what kind of bike I will get if I continue this fever in the future….
Now to the main topic. This time, I rented a geared bike instead of a moped.
This time we rented a geared bike, not a moped, but a geared bike without a clutch, just like a Cub. I rented a Honda DAX 125cc for 8 hours at Honda Dream. Unlike a moped, I was a little nervous about riding a geared bike.
I had never ridden a Cub before and it had been a while since I had changed gears.
My fears were unfounded as soon as I got on the bike.
I got used to it after I had a briefing at Honda and repeated stop-and-go several times on a trip to a traffic light. It is easy because there is no clutch. I found out while driving that I can cruise without being so nervous as long as I shift up at the start mainly because downshifting is too much effective for embracing.
After you have learned a certain amount about everything, it is quicker to “try it out.
Now, this touring is to visit graves. It has been a long time since I visited my mother’s grave in 2007? It was less than 40 km to Y cemetery where my maternal grandparents and my ex-wife were buried.
It was a hot, hot day without exception. My pants were black and close to my skin, so it was especially hot and my thighs were burning.
My jacket was white with long sleeves, so I didn’t feel it so much, but I felt that the pants were black and close to my skin like spats, so it was very hot.
Since 125 cc vehicles cannot ride on highways, we drove down the busy expressway and got lost on the way, occasionally checking Google Maps to make sure we were on the right road. (We left before 11:00 a.m., so it took a long time.)
The sun was beating down on my skin. As expected, it was the first time since 2007, so it was difficult to find the grave site. I thought it might be in this area. I wandered around the cemetery with a ladle and a bucket to find out which gravestone it was… I think I wandered around in the blazing sun for about 5 to 10 minutes.
When I finally arrived at the gravestone, it was clean and there were no dead flowers. According to what I heard, his daughters visit the gravesite every month. The fact that the flowers had not withered under the scorching sun meant that they must have been there a couple of days ago.
I prayed for the souls of the three and left the cemetery.
After that, we stopped at the cemetery rest area for restrooms and lunch. The air conditioner was so cool that I felt like I was in heaven! I felt like I was in heaven!
After eating the chilled onigiri and pickled eggplant that we had brought with us, we headed back home after the sweat had completely gone away.
The DAX125 is very stable, and even though it was my first time riding it, I enjoyed the ride. On the way home, I passed by the road from the Asahina Interchange to Harajuku, which I used to take when I was a student, and I fondly remembered those days. I remember there used to be a golf driving range around here. I used to take this road to visit my friend’s house when I was a student. I remember that I rode my ZZR400 to school on this road when I was in college. I was a student….
I got lost and had to go back to the original road once on the way back home, but it was a relatively smooth ride. It was great that I did not have to stress about the 30km speed limit, unlike with a moped. The weather was hot, hot and very harsh, but it was a good experience that reminded me of the joys of driving.
On the way, we also went shopping at OK…
Since I had some time left before the return time, I continued to explore the roads around my house. Running is really fun.
The feeling of acceleration when starting off right after the traffic light turns green is something only a motorcycle can provide!
As the end of such an enjoyable experience came, I refueled for the last time……..
2.01 liters of gasoline. Gasoline cost me 183 yen per liter, but since the distance traveled was 110 km
The fuel consumption is about 55 km/Ⅼ ! How easy on the wallet!
It is good that a motorcycle does not consume so much gasoline even if it runs for a day.
Next time, I plan to try a bike with a clutch. I feel like I can call myself a return rider. New? I’ll enjoy my hobby ^^) _旦~~
